Policies
Rental Cancellation Policy
Reservations will be discarded two hours after scheduled pick up time. Please contact our reservations office at 888-551-3349. A three-day notice of cancellation is required or you will be subject to a one day rental charge + Tax.
Fuel Policy
All vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel they departed with. Any vehicles brought back with less fuel will be subject to fuel charges by A Car Rental Inc.
Age Requirements to Rent a Car
Minimum age: 21
All customers under the age of 25 are subject to a surcharge, and must provide primary car insurance to rent a car with us.
Additional Drivers
Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the Primary Driver. Additional drivers cannot be added over the phone. Additional drivers are subject to a surcharge.
Clean Rental Car Policy
Smoking and pets are not allowed in our discount rental cars. Cars returned excessively dirty will be subject to a minimum 25.00 clean up fee.
Parking Tickets
Parking Tickets must be paid by the renter and A Car Rental must be informed when the car is returned. Failure to pay any and all parking tickets will result in a $25.00 administration fee per ticket charged to the renter plus the cost of the parking ticket(s).
Toll Violations
Renters are responsible for paying any and all tolls on Florida Highways that require it. Failure to pay any and all Florida Highway Tolls will result in a $25.00 administration fee per violation charged to the renter plus the cost of the toll violation(s).
Driving Area
All car rentals must remain in the State of Florida.
Mileage
A customer with an Out of State or International License and a return air travel ticket will have unlimited miles within our unlimited miles zone. see map
Florida residents will have restricted mileage, 750 miles per week; 150 miles per day; 20 cents per mile thereafter. Call 954-567-3349 for further details.

Insurance Policy
Bring proof of existing car insurance with you. If you do not have comprehensive and collision on your car insurance policy, a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) will be required. There will be a surcharge for CDW. Minimum liability is required. We do not sell liability insurance.
Cash Rental Policy
- Cash customers must submit a $500.00 car rental deposit
- Proof of residency required (for example, a utility bill in your name with your home address)
- Verify a working home phone or cell phone to make car renting possible
- Fill out a short car rental application
Debit Card Rental Policy
- Debit Card customers must pay a $300.00 car rental security deposit / authorization
- Verify a working home phone or cell phone
- No credit checks
Car Rental Responsibilities
- All auto rentals are paid for in full at check out.
- Car Rental customers are responsible for all damages to the auto rental and any third party claims for liability.
- Car Rental customers are responsible for returning the car rentals to A Car Rental Inc. on the agreed due date.
- A Car Rental Inc. customers should understand the agreement they sign upon checkout. This rental agreement is much like other car rental companies agreements.
